Akira Tsusaka Mr. Akira Tsusaka is the Senior Board Advisor and Executive Vice President of the SEA Consultants Inc. Currently, he is the Lord Takayama Professorial Chair of the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School where he teaches electives in International Financial Institutions and selected Issues in International Economics, Finance and Banking. In the same manner, he is a professorial lecturer at the De La Salle University, Graduate School of Business where he also teaches electives in International Financial Institutions and International Business. He served as Representative Director of the Asian Development Advisory Training Insitute from August 2001 up to the present, a Board Advisor of Asia Trust Bank from July 2001 up to present, Professor and Advisor for International Cooperation of the Asian Institute of Management from September 1999 to May 2003. For 21 years, Mr. Tsusaka has served the Asian Development Bank which included positions as Operations Advisor, Operations Manager, Deputy Director of Opertaions, Development Policy Office Director, Industry and Development Banks Department Director, and Private Sector Departments Director. He
has also chaired various conferences which focused on privatization, venture
capital financing, regional cooperation in technology ventures in small
and medium industries, to name a few. His Memberships in professorial
societies include the Association of Developing Financing Institutions
in Asia and the Pacific, Inter-American Investment Corporation in Washington
D.C., and Center for Financial Engineering in Development in Washington
